Kakashi fights Tendo, who is soon backed up by Shurado. Kakashi learns of Tendo's powers of gravitation and is eventually assisted by Choji and Choza, who destroy Shurado's body. Kakashi learns of the time delay between Tendo's attacks, and sets up a trap, however Shurado sacrifices itself to foil the trap. Choza's squad is soon wiped out and Kakashi fatally struck down. However, using the last of his strength, he helps Choji escape from Shurado's dying attack and inform Tsunade about Tendo's powers, before dying.
