With Lee unconscious, Sakura fights by herself. One of the Sound Genin, Kin Tsuchi, takes hold of her hair and ridicules her for spending so much time on her looks, and Sakura cuts her hair to free herself from Kin's grasp. Freed, Sakura battles Zaku Abumi, though he quickly gains the advantage. Moved by Sakura's determination, Team 10 attacks the Sound Genin.
