Orochimaru remembers when he became interested in reanimation and the Sharingan. Orochimaru begins the ritual to take over Sasuke's body. Kabuto arrives to see Sasuke standing over Orochimaru's snake body and asks who is he. The Sharingan reveals to Kabuto what happened. After all he did to achieve his goal, Orochimaru failed in possessing Sasuke's body as Sasuke reversed Orochimaru's Jutsu and absorbed Orochimaru into his body. Elsewhere, Naruto, Tsunade, Jiraiya and Itachi at different locations all stare at the flaming, bloody-looking sunset.
